This is a poem by সবুজ বাঘ (the Green Tiger). The illustration and translation is by me.
Once a dynoboar was carrying an innocent kitten in its arms
I asked him, "What's the scene ?"
He said, "Can't figure."
I said, "Why not?"
He said, "Nothing is clear, Its all hazy."
I said", "Why, why is it all hazy?"
He said, "Because its not clean."
I said, "Are you sure you can see?"
He said, "I can see, but I don't understand."
I figured, the scene is not alright. Let's change the chapter.
I asked, "So who's this you're carrying, your son?"
He said, "No. It's the son of a cat."
I said, "Then why are you carrying him?"
He said, "I caught him to eat."
I said, "Oh really ? Then why don't you just eat him ?"
He said, "He has a little injury in his leg.
I'm waiting for it to heal. I will eat him as soon as it heals."
The kitten jumping in his arms declared, "I will not heal."
I figured, the world is full of genjam*.
*Genjam (গ্যাঞ্জাম, গিয়ানজাম) : A bangla word meaning twist, trouble, drama
